Hi, i have two screens currently connected to my computer on a Radeon 9250 graphicas card. My main monitor i want on 1024x768 however i want the other on 1280x1240. On my graphics i cannot find an option that would allow me to change the resolution on just a single screen, because they are set up as clone if i change one the other changes aswell. So my question is, does anyone know how i can get round this and have different resolutions on the two screens.

    Thanks

Yes, well I can with my nvidia card / drivers - use extended desktop option instead of clone

I've a 9550 with a VGA out and DVi out.

Using the latest Catalyst drivers (6.12) you can set up two different displays in the Displays Manager. Works fine for me, just meddle around a bit or google it and you'll get there in the end.

My VGA feeds a Goodmans 20inch 16:9 HD LCD and in the new year the DVI will feed a 37" Sammy, it can be done.
