Hello Peeps,
Recently moved into our new house which was extensively extended / refurbished in 2002. During the refit the builder put coaxial cable everywhere around the house, some rooms have 2 points installed so coaxial is plentiful. Great for RF distribution but I'd like to now look at a matrix type multi room solution that will allow a number of inputs to be displayed in different zones when needed.
Is there anyway/out of box solution to utilise the existing coaxial installed for HD multi room distribution or is it a case of running new cabling to the bedrooms and downstairs areas? I ask as our CCTV is HD-SDI which I believe is coaxial cable.
I think I know the answer but just wanted to check before biting the bullet and planning the runs etc.
Many thanks in advance.
