Have you looked for a hack to make your player multi region?

Yeah I've cruised the net and all sites seem to sugest that the pioneer is not hackable.
I knew I should have brought the Tosh.

you could send it off to lots of places who will chip it for you

i think multiregionmagic do it for around 40 inc P&P both ways

you will make that back in cheaper region discs in no time

Could be totally wrong here - but aren't ALL players sold now in Australia multi region as standard (Or some need a simple adjustment done by the store bloke with a remote control).

If this is the case then it shouldn't be too difficult to get your player corrected.
If I'm wrong of course just ignore this posting;)

Whatever it costs to have your player chipped surely it can't be worth it just for that one terrible film :D

I think it might cost him more than £40 to send his player from Australia to here and then get it back again ;)

I wouldn't say that mate. I don't like 1941 myself, but you Aussies make some great flicks. I've got a bit of a penchant for Oz (and Kiwi) cinema actually. Particular faves are Two Hands, Lantana, Chopper, Muggers, Scarfies and Snakeskin (Kiwi flick) :) Have just ordered Envy and am always on the look out for other Aussie movies but usually wait until EzyDVD sell them off for $10 or so as it's hard to find out any info about them. So couldn't recommend some others for me to try could you please? :D
