Do I need anything else in order to play different Region DVD's through a Multi Region player - or will it just work
I've heard talk of needing particular cables or even TV's

    Sorry for asking thick Qs?

Most multiregion players output Region 1 DVDs in their native NTSC format. So you will need a TV that is capable of displaying NTSC signals. Most modern TVs (my 8yr old Philips, for example) will do this.
