Multi region DVD player on PS2?

Is it possibly to play different region DVD films on the UK PS2. If it is how do I go about this

I have a program called dvd region x you should be able to pick it up on ebay.

You stick in a boot disc into the PS2, the PS2 will ask you to select a region... 1 to 6 if I recall correctly. You make your choice and the tray will eject. Take out the DVD Region X disc and insert your DVD movie, et voila, a non region 2 disc will play in your UK PAL PS2. I've been using it for years. One other bonus is that the program will remove the PS2 green screen issue when trying to play DVD Video over an RGB SCART video connection.

Cheers. IM using it through component so dont suffer from any green screen however I am using a slimline silver PS2 so how does this work with it ejecting automatically?
