I have just bought a new Denon 2900 which is region 2 as standard, but it came with a multi region disk. After all the problems I have heard, do I use the disk or leave it as region 2.

    steverb,

Well, I wuold say it's up to you.
Do you have a lot of dvd's from other regions?

If so and you did apply the firmware and have problems you could always contact your dealer and have them send you the firmware to set it back to region 2.

How come you have had the disc sent seperatly? The norm is for a dealer to make a few more dollars by keeping hold of the m/r firmware and applying it themselves.

Whatever you decide good luck with yer player.

    My 4 month old 2900 is multi-region and hasn't had a single problem with R1, R2 or R3 discs. Nor with DVD-R, CD-R, DVD-A, SACD....
