    Hi guys

I currently have my pc connected to my panasonic ldx70 using vga from the pc to the tv. The picture is superb (1:1 pixel mapping) but of course it is analogue. Now will I have an even better picture connecting using dvi to hdmi (digital) and am i not getting tru HD until ii is digital ?

It would be beneficial to use digital all the way through but you will struggle to pixel map over HDMI. Maybe best to stick to vga, other wise you could try 720p or 1080i from your gfx card using DVI and let the tv scale it.

VGA at 1:1 is what I would use. DVI can be a case of the grass is always greener...

Yeah, VGA vs DVI is almost undistinguishable for pc use

You can't get VGA out of most video sources, what do you have in mind?

leaft...try 'powerstrip' to customise your o/p res.

I could be wrong, but think the bandwidth and bit depth of analogue can put DVI to shame?

I could be wrong, but don't PC resolutions need to be multiples of 8? 1366/8=170.25. So is this possible on a PC?
