    Hi all.
I have just plugged my sony walkman in after a long time with it not being used and non of my usb sockets will recognise it so i cannot transfer any thing onto it .
I have looked every where for a sony content transfer program and only found one on the sony support site but it keeps telling me i have no MTP usb port. My computer is a acer aspire AX3400 which is the same one i used in the past and all was fine. The walkman is a NWZ-E445 and it has the content transfer program on it and it used to come up when ever i plugged it in.
    Any help would be welcome.

Try looking at the USB devices and you should see one with a yellow exclamation mark. Right click and uninstall then restart and plug in Walkman.

Some have tried installing USB drivers to the device with an exclamation mark.

Sony Mp3 Walkman is not getting Detected ! [Solved]

No guarantees from me but USB devices are pretty safe to uninstall drivers since Windows should just install the right ones when you restart or plug in a device again after the restart. Good luck :)
