MSN messenger video app compatability

Hi all first post.

Can anyone tell me if there is an MSN messenger VIDEO app that will work from the ipad2 and communicate with someone using MSN messenger video on a PC operating Windows ? Am I hoping for the impossible ?

I'm afraid not. There are apps that claim to, but don't think they work very well, if at all.

Can't you use Skype instead?

Thanks for your help , allthough not good news , why dont they sort it eh ? political I spose.

Yup know all about Skype mate but its for my missus and she is a Thai , and her family out in Thailand use MSN , and if you know anything about Thais , they allways do it this/ that way never change .

As far as I know Microsoft doesn't even do MSN video chat on their Windows Phones, so it's no surprise they don't offer it either on the iPad.

Since Microsoft owns Skype now, they may be considering dropping MSN video at some point and running it all over Skype - don't see why they would keep multiple video chat systems. So she may actually need to change, just don't know when.
