    Hi
I've narrowed my search down to these two subs, but I'vE a couple of questions. What does the 409 come with,(spm),does it also come with
a CD to set it up with, and a remote control, also does it have seperate
outputs for music and LFE.(Whats it like for music)and does any body
no where you can buy it from other than AVLAND.
    Thanks for your help

    Mike.

You have a PM but broadly, the 409 has a setup CD, no remote and is low level input only as studies of 309 owners showed that less than 5% ever used the high level input and brutally we needed the panel space. The business end is a downward firing CPC driver with a 200W digital amp.

I would guess that the 5% statistic also applies to most other subs apart as well as the 309. I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of a remote either as if you have set the sub up correctly it should be "set and forget" and the remote, which although useful, is either just an additional cost or an excuse for corner cutting elsewhere to keep the overall price down
