Hi folks, i have 4x MS25i Pearls, lovely speakers i've had for about 5 years. Thing is I can't find any MSci or T1000 or MSc20(does it exist?) speakers to match with them for sound. Anyone got any recommendations?

Yes I've been looking but I'm wondering what other speakers tonally match the MS25i's, they don't have to be Mordaunt Shorts but a tonal match is important. Could any experienced with MS speakers please give some suggestions?

    Thanks

Have a look at the (very) recently released Epos centre. Tonally the Epos M range is like a "deluxe" version of the pearls and use a tweeter directly descended from them. Nice finish as well. Failing that, MSC20's turn up on ebay at about 1 a month or so.

I currently own a pair of mordaunt MS 20i pearls which your 25i's are based on - these are quite the firecrackers!
I had the same problem as you but found a good matching centre in the shape of the award winning paradigm cc350 centre speaker, even though it is much larger than the pearls, it is an excellent acoustic match and certainly sounded better than MS's own matched centre speaker.

I have a Mordant Short MSC20 Centre Speaker, which I used with MS20i Pearls (fronts) and MS10i Pearls (rears). It seems to be an exact tonal match, as it shares the same tweeter, and has two smaller, but same material cones. It is also biwirable. As luck would have it, I was intending to sell the whole package (not living room friendly), and am happy to split it if you really want an MSC20. Note, the speaker is quite small in size, although reassuringly heavy!

Barzo, small is good, easier to put on a bracket or on top of a telly. Could you please measure it and give the dimemsions? Also how much are you willing to let go of it for?

I'm currently unable to send you a PM as you aren't accepting them, or email as I don't have your email address. Try and change your settings to receive personal messages with AVFORUMS. Its kind of like the forum's own mini email system.

Are you by any chance someone i have emailed recently regarding an msc20 speaker? It was a hotmail address. Mr first initial b, followed by a six letter surname beginning with v?

I would post my email address but i'm completely paranoid of email harvesters putting me on a spam list.
