    Hi,

Suddenly my MS309 will not power up. Have replaced the fuse on the plug and even tried another cable (same as a kettle lead for the PC), but still nothing. No adjustments were made to the sub or any other part of my setup. In fact I never turned ot off since June, ut I noticed no sub activity on a film I just watched. Ran the Test setup on My Yamaha RXV-1400 to confirm it's dead.

Is there a fuse on the sub that I need to change or once something like this happens is there nothing I can do.

I purchased the sub in June this year from Richer Sounds, but unfortunetly the box was burned on bonfire night (following a loft clearout). I think I've still got the receipt, but not sure about guarentees.

Or it demonstrates that building an enormous batch to satisfy increased demand with the incorrect fuse can have repercussions long after the mistake has been rectified :suicide:. Rumblebee, the fuse in question that needs changing is located in the base of the mains socket on the sub plate and slides out in a small plastic tray. I am on holiday at the moment but the suggested 2.5amp slow blow can be had from Maplins/RS components etc.

    Thanks for replying.

I'll take a look after work, then pop to Maplins at the weekend.

No worries :smashin:. And you can now spend some time working out what to do with 9 spare 2.5 amp fuses.
