What music do you listen to? If it's not classical I would go for the Mission. The MS got issues with bass.

hi , i own a set of 902 and 904 's and they souind good with rock and metal (what i mostly listen to) but bass can be muddy if your rooms not big enough.
biwiring helps with this aswell - it makes them sound far more controlled.

As for mission speakers i can only comment on a set i had prior to the MS
they were okay but i didnt like there sound for rock....

    hope this helps!

have you considered bookshelf speakers of the same price - that's probably the best bet if its a small room - sound better too !

    i recommend tannoy fusion 2 , kef cresta 10 , mordaunt short ms912
    and wharfedale diamonds.....

prices are good on the net.......

good luck in getting the pair you want.

I too am looking at the MS 904's but I decided not to get the Missions because the Mordaunts seem to be better built and in my opinion better value for money.

I am looking at the Tannoy Fusion 3's instead though and have posted in these fourms twice but no one seems to help or give me any advice so it doesn't really help considering i'm going to buy one of them soon. In What hi fi the MS 906's got a good write up but I couldn't find any info on the 904's so I've looked everywhere on this forum.
