MS 409W Amp with Kef PSW 2000?

Well i brought a kef psw 2000 and it is faulty (suprise suprise) but not the common fault of humming or chattering. Mine is just silent and i cant find anything to fix that, everything looks fine on the amp, all caps and stuff look good. So intead of fiddling around and all that. I can get a brand new Mordaunt Short MS409W plate amp. Is it possible for me to replace the stock PSW 2000 amp with the MS one? Anyone know how many watts the 409w is?

I believe the MS is 200 watts. If you can get it cheaply enough then it might be worth giving it a go.
