Anyone know wnayhting about the Swedish version of Mr And Mrs Smith on CDWOW? he relase date is Oct 25th, which is a month earlier than the R1 (assuming CDWOW haven't got the date wrong, which isn't unknown!). Its the cheapest version too. Don't know the production company behind it, so not sure about quality. Anyone know anything about it??????

    Link here

Just noticed its listed as only 90mins running time.

I see no indication of there being DTS on this release, as opposed to the R3. Sure, it's cheaper and might be out a bit earlier, but some people (like me) will favour a release with DTS. And believe me, this movie will sound awesome with a DTS release.

I've ordered this and the R3 release (and probably the R1 and UK release will end up with me too), so I'll let you know when it arrives what the quality is like (briefly!)

Wow, it must be good then!! I haven't actually seen it, but the trailers look good.

I was thinking of getting the R3 for the DTS track, but after getting the Sahara 2 disk DTS set and seeing how bad the picture was there I am not too sure. Is the R3 version Fox (like I, Robot etc.)? The PQ should be good if it is, but I am not sure!

5 if you include the Russian release........

R3 for the DTS, Swedish 'cos it's out first, R1 I'll review with luck (HINT!) and R2 as it arrives around my B/day and no-one ever knows what to get me (and it they buy a DVD a) I usually have it and b) everyonder knows I'm an Angelina fan - so I'll probably get that 2 or 3 times and have to keep one copy and return the others).

Still - I'd rather watch Angelina doing nothing than suffer Episode 3.

Fair point. Although Episode 3 was better than the other 2 as there was no Jar-Jar frickin Binks.

The R5 has a DTS track (dubbed Russian ? Why?) - the R2 might have one as it wouldn't be the first time we get a movie with a DTS track that's not mentioned (Plus it's Fox and most of their stuff is DTS now).

Either way, as stated, I'll have it in a variety of flavours by the end of the month. Hopefully I should see the Swedish ver next week, so I'll let you know what I think!

CDWOW have removed the Swedish edition from their website. It must have been a mistake as all other regions seem to be released at around the same time (end of November).

Also, DVD Answers have posted some menu shots of the English R2 version and it shows a DTS audio option.

I spoke to CD Wow - the Swedish version is being sent Monday hopefully for people who pre-ordered it.

As to the UK R2 - yes it apparently has DTS and we should have a review of it appearing NEXT WEEK!
