mpeg avi to ipod

anyone know of any good, FREE if possible avi mpeg etc. convertors so i can put videos onto ipod video ?

Videora is the thing, but you may need to run the process though Pocket Divx Encoder first to retain the audio in sync with the video.

I got this info from the iLounge forum and it certainly worked in getting Futurama into my iPod.

Videora is the one. Apparently. I tried it and gave up after a few hours. I think my computer is just too slow for that sort of thing.
