MP4 files not playing in Windows 10

When I try to play mp4 files in Windows 10, I get an error "Element not Found". This applies to all mp4 players I have on my PC except one. I have a Roadhawk Dash Cam and the mp4 files play OK in that.

Searching the web for this error give a bit of a confusing set of answers.

I wonder if anyone on this forum with Windows 10 is also not able to play mp4 files.

Not sure when this first happened, but there have been a lot of updates to windows and MS Office in the last week.

Any help is appreciated.

Try VLC or Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

Thanks Jago, Downloaded VLC and can now play all my video files on Windows 10..
