    Hi,

I have just bought a car stereo that has an Ipod connector, I also have about 40gig's woth of mp3's on my computer, what do I need to transfer these to the ipod? Is it just a case of using the itunes software or is there a less clunky way of just dragging and dropping as if it were an external drive?

    I tunes is easy enough.

As long as you have all your songs in the itunes library, just plug your ipod in and it'll pretty much take care of it's self.

Otherwise there are plenty of other 3rd party software applications that you can use as well (such as Yamipod - http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/ ). Have a search on this forum, as they have been discussed plenty of times in the past.

Thanks for the reply, just wanted to clear that up as I found that Itunes installed loads of stuff that wasn't really necisary.
