Is it possible to connect my mp3 player to my stereo amp in order to play music through my hi-fi?

If so...what connections do I need?

    Cheers

yeah dead easy if your hi fi has an aux port on the back! all you need to do is buy a lead! -head phone (3.5mm pin) to phono. any Tandy, Maplins or Radio shack type electrical hifi shop should shock them!

if you have no aux port but have a radio on your hifi then you can use a radio transmitter like an itrip they do do ones that are desigend for the ipod try belkin as a company i know they do one!

    i hope this helps

Dogslike you's suggestion is a good one!
I would suggest using the line out from a docking station, rather than the headphone output - much better audio quality!
