MP3 players for spoken word

Hi all,

We're looking for some memory stick based MP3 players for use in a school library. The vast majority of their use will be for talking books & the like. Our area of concern is that most don't mention about bookmarks & whether they will 'store' your place when the things are turned off.

Can anyone advise us on particular models or product ranges that have this function?

Many thanks,

PMF

No?? After a fair trawl round the forum I'm getting the impression that just hard disk based players allow for bookmarking. Could anyone confirm this for me, please?

Thanks,

PMF

My Sony, and Wife's Panasonic MP3 players both remember, most will only some of the cheaper ones may not eg my first SD card MP3 player, alot of spoken word CD's have lots of chapter stops a typical Harry Potter CD will have 68 Chapter stops so this may not be such an issue.
