    Hi M8s,
I'm looking to buy an MP3 player for around £70 mark. I am not an avid music fan but would obviously prefer a unit with good music playback and around 512mb memory.
    Regards,
    Dave

I've just ordered the Philips 015 (512MB) Currys have on offer...

Seems pretty good for £56 ;)

Hopefully it's ok (shame it's USB 1.1 though)... Can't complain for the price though. I was looking to buy a 512MB pen drive, not that much more and I've got an MP3 thrown in :smashin:

    Barely.

This is a good choice though. It's not 'old stock' but a new technology player with a good audio chipset and excellent USB2.0 performance. A quick note that catches the unwary of non-databasing players: Unless you use the included software or have your tracks named with track numbers first, it won't play back tracks in order.

Sony also do something similar, but the above is quite a bit superior.

I know it will be slower !
    Cheers,
    Dave
