Hi! Anyone know a good 20GB (or thereabouts) MP3 player that I could use on Windows 98 (not the second edition, just the basic first one)??

    Cheers!

I think you are going to have problems with Windows 98. The USB support on that version was dodgy to say the least !

Cheers for the reply, what do you mean by support for the USB? I assume my USB is 1.1 or whatever, so wouldnt this do?

Most USB devices only support Windows 98 2nd edition. W 98 1st edition USB didn't work reliably.

Correct. I wouldn't advise anyone to use W98 if they want reliable USB performance.

I had a Sony MiniDisc player Net MD until recently and that worked fine with 98?

It may work but you'll be on your own if it doesn't. First of all you could download Sonicstage to check if it installs ok.
