I intend to buy a dvd player in the £300 range.
But I want to have mp3 playback and ability to read DVD-R, CDR and all the jazz. Which one do you guys suggest. coz i'd prefer your opinion to most reviews.

You should give LG-3350E or its newer sibling a try before you decide.

I haven't seen them yet but the different letter could just mean a different colour.

    Maybe.

I have Aiva XD DV 370. The player works very good with MP3 home made CDs. Read about it in HCCO Hardware Rewievs. As long as you follow Aiwas rules for burning your own CDs with MP3 files you wont have problems. In all other areas I can agree with HCCO Hardware Rewievs for this Aiwa.

In "What Video's" September issue they have a review of the Panasonic DVD-RV41 with a list price of £300 which plays Mp3.

They gave it a "Best Buy" award

Here for £250 region 2 or £299 Multiregion

The new pioneer's might be worth a look, they look pretty darn cool(what you can see of them!!). Or of course the current champ is the tosh 210.
