You need a .35 phono > ???SRL??? (not certain on that but err..) lead IE a headphone jack into a red/white stereo jack. You also need to have spare inputs on the HiFi. Most likely they will just look like 'speaker ports' on your hifi - but they will be for input not output. Make sure you have these before bothering to order cables.

Pretty much any specialist HiFi shop will have the leads you need (general ones wont... SOME Dixons might but they will charge a bloody fortune for the pleasure if they do)...

If you dont have spare inputs for the cabling, a poor mans alternative would be a .35 > .35 male/male end - which you could plug into a microphone jack on the HiFi. Sound quality would be dismal in comparison though.

    Hope that helped you out.

It depends what line in/aux in your hifi has. You will either need a 3.5mm jack to 3.5 jack, or a 3.5 jack to phono lead. You can get them at Argos!

Argos - or B&Q would probably have them as well.

Probably not worth spending a lot on an interconnect. Once you play mp3 through a separates system, you will notice the sound compression.
