and the drive D (my cd drive) and choose wav, and converted them. Now it does not read any files on the cd.

If its any use its version 8.0 please help, I have just bought a load of cds, and want to listen to them in the car!! GRARARARAARRRRRRRRR

PS just found all my cd tracks are now called xxxx.cda, whats that??

Im not sure whats happened here but musicmatch has many problems. A better application to use would be the new windows iTunes that Apple just brought out. Its alot simpler than Musicmatch and less buggy too. So if you dont mind changing you can go here to download it:

    www.itunes.com

Thats all i can do to help since im not too great at windows (i'm a mac user)

audio cd tracks are .cda you will need to convert the contents of the album to .wav's to actually have wav files. it isn't just a case of adding the file extension i'm afraid. :(

but from what i gather you are trying to do, i would just convert the cd tracks directly to .mp3's if i were you. exact audio copy is a good program for doing this :)

also, as Frankie_D says...you could always give iTunes a bash. i'm yet to try it but think i will any day now [hoping to get an iPod one day :)]

    i can but dream

A free one that I always used to use (as it is a ripper, converter and ID3 tagger in one) is CD'n'Go. It can be found at www.download.com
