    Hi,

When converting MP3's to ATRACplus64 and transferring them to my HD5 I'm getting very poor quality on playback e.g. there is evident hissing, volume fluctuates and just general poor quality.

I believe the issue may be to the firmware upgrade 1.2 because any conversions I have done before upgrading the firmware have been very good quality on the ATRACplus64 bitrate. I'm using Sonicstage 3.2 and the conversions sound OK on my computer. MP3's transfer fine and sound good too - it's just this conversion to ATRAC when its on my HD5 - I have also tried converting to 192 and 256 and still the same issue.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it possible to rollback the firmware to previous version to check if this is what causes it? Any suggestions to solve?

    Thanks
