I am trying to choose a new AV receiver, at the same time as new speakers.

Speakers are likely to be either MA Radius 225's or Kef iQ5 +iQ6c.

Are these level of speakers level of speakers good enough to give you a big improvement when choosing between £300 and £600 av amps e.g Onkyo 605 or 705, or Denon 1907 or 2308?

Onto page two with no response!

For what it's worth I've just spent £900 on a full setup, Onkyo SR605 and AE Aego T 5.1 Surround Speakers. Can't comment on performance as I've yet to set it up and I basically budgeted £400 for amp, £500-600 for speakers
