Moving/tilting Plasmas

Right, I'm a bit foggy on this one.

I seem to remember hearing a few years ago that you shouldn't tilt your plasma, or turn it upside down, or something, or the picture would be wrecked.

Urban myth, or some truth in it?

No urban myth!

If your 'transporting' a Display by road, sea or air you need to ensures its always kept upright otherwise you run the risk of the pixel array (glass) cracking as it bounces around if its laid flat.

You can lay it flat etc when installing it just don't lay it flat when its transit.
