Hi All,
Looking for some advice from this knowledgeable forum, I've recently purchased my first house and am planning to move in to it within the next month when contracts exchange, the house is only about 6.5 miles from my current location so not to far away. However my main worry/concern is the best way to logistically package my tv for the move so that it doesn't get damaged,
I have the 82" Samsung and unfortunately no longer have the box due to the sheer size of it and amount of space it consumed, Ive looked and even spoken to specialist cardboard box manufacturers about having a box made but most of the ones online cant make a box that big (74" x 46" x 6"), the only thing ive seen that comes reasonably close is a box for a push bike though not ideal as im worried due to the weight 46Kg it would fall through the bottom of the box,
Has anyone had any experience moving such a large/heavy fragile item? or any hints/tips on the best and safest way to logistically do this, im going to get a professional insured removal company in to move this TV but im sure they would still want it to have some sort of packaging on it to mitigate their liability as much as possible,
any help/advice much appreciated
