OK, I currently have sky installed but am moving house and wanted it fitted there. Now, considering I'm still running the original Pace box I thought this would be a good time to start afresh rather than take my current stuff with me. Am I better off contacting sky for the install or going to a local fitter who will probably let me choose a specific digibox? And what are the best digiboxes kicking around at the moment?

Don't mind spending a couple of hundred quid if it gets me a much better box that whatever sky are chucking out these days.

Guess I'll have to have a search around on the net. What boxes do sky give out as standard now just so I have something to compare to.

If you want to start again from scratch, contact a local installer and they should let you choose your box (if not, phone around until you find someone who will). I think I am correct in saying it is one discounted box per household, so you should be able to get the box of your choice for £40 or £50 once you move house.

Best boxes are the Panasonic DSB30/31 or Sony 750/760. The Panasonics are a bit quicker but the Sony looks nicer!
