As the title says: how would you deal with a 42" plasma?

    Very carefully :)
Or if you don't have the original box get a very study box.. People like the Big Yellow Storage company sell strong boxes and pack it full of big bubble wrap and styrofoam. Even if it costs you £30+ to sort it is better that is breaking.
Does your house insurance cover moving?

    Cheers for the replies,

Havn't bought it yet - but i am going to sell my house and will probably continue to move frequently for a while, storing that sort packaging could be a pain in a one or two bedroom flat.

I know a LCD would be easier but i really fancy a 42" plasma.

Why don't you sell the plasma WITH your house? It would sell a lot quicker and you'd get closer to the asking price than normal. Once moved, get a new one with the extra profit!

    Hi all. :hiya:

I'd just like to add, moving a house with a plasma can be extremely damaging for the screen (and frame). :lesson:

Or did I miss something?

P.S: using a lcd wouldn't be any easier, I think. :nono:

If you haven't bought it yet, why don't you just keep the original box? If you don't have room, maybe friends or family do.
