Moving house soon - want to set up free channels in every bedroom

Active Member
Guys - any ideas on best way to do this?

I am moving house soon - although it already has a satellite dish on the outside wall, I am going with Virgin to get the best deal. HD box and 50mb broadband etc.

I wouild like to put some sort of TV service in the three kids rooms. Would it be best to get some freesat boxes or should I be streaming TV from a media server?

Any ideas

The TVs will all have Freeview tuners - surely they'd be adequate?
An aerial with amplifier and splitter would be easy enough to fix.

If the dish is a Sky dish & has a quad LNB (4 outputs) then you could run coax cables from the dish to the rooms and fit Freesat receivers-

you could send them freeview and add the cable TV's rf for the channel that is on
