Moving home - cancel sky for better deal?

Been a Sky customer at the same address for about 12 years, on a basic package, no sports or movies.

Hoping to move house shortly, so what would give me the best deal - move the current Sky subscription to the new property - or cancel it and restart it as a new customer when I move? Presumably new customers get a better deal?

Would appreciate any advice.

Checkout the best deal new customers are getting. Then phone up and enquire as to what they can offer. When it's pants, play the 'moving house, wary of adjustment to new more expensive bills' card. Hopefully they will offer close to the best new customer offer, otherwise cancel. Once cancelled rejoin, may need to use different bank account.

If you leave you cannot come back(as a new customer) for another 6 months, unless you have a new address +(probablly - new bank account)
