    You have 3 options.
    1. Copy the programs to tape/disk using the copy option
    2. Watch them all before you do the swap
    3. Keep them on there and swap the disk back when you have time to watch them

Not sure as we don't have any external recording equipment hooked up but I believe if you go into the planner and highlight a recording, there is an option to 'copy' it.
I suspect this will be via the scart socket.
Can't see why you shouldn't be able to do this to DVD-R.

To copy go into Sky+ planner, select the recording(s) then press the red button. You'll be prompted to switch on the VCR etc, press select and away you go. Analogue transfer of course to DVD via SCART or s-video. If you can use the TV scart for RGB quality.

There is no way to move data from a SKY hard drive to another hard drive and keep it intact to a such a point that it can be read by SKY+. SKY+ uses a slightly tweaked FAT file system along with a proprierty RASP layer created by NDS. I did read on another forum someone attempted to copy the drive to another using Norton Ghost but it couldn't do it.

As others have indicated you may have to settle for exporting the programming onto VHS or DVD via the usual analogue outputs.
