I've got my PJ attached to the ceiling through a joist only thing is that upstairs I walk over the joist and in time the PJ drops a few inches and this obviously means that it drops on my screen, is there any way I can tighten it up without damaging it?

what mount have you got maverick, mine has alan key screws that tighten around the ball joint in the mount once it is set in the desired position. Funnilly enough I used to have the same problem then I found I could tighten mine and it hasn't happened since.

if your joist drops a couple if inches then i dont think you should be walking on it, if i read your post correctly,....

if its your mount? that drops then its not secured properly, and in time your beloved PJ will fall.... :thumbsdow
