Movietyme delivery speed

Howdy, gang.

Last week, I managed to bag an HD-DVD add-on for the ol' 360 from Comet, which is being delivered on Monday. Anyway, I thought I'd get something to watch on it, and as I wanted the stuff before Christmas, I thought I'd best do it straight away.

With that in mind, I ordered 5 HD-DVDs from Movietyme late on Thursday. It's now Saturday and I still haven't heard a peep...just that my order's been taken. No confirmation emails, or anything like that - certainly nothing saying my payment had been refused, either, although the money hasn't been taken anyway.

Does anyone know, therefore, how likely I am to have my discs delivered before the big day? I was really looking forward to watching them over Christmas, if I'm honest. I've ordered Batman Begins, The Thing, Casablanca, V For Vendetta and Serenity.

Any advice on how long it will take would be greatly appreciated!

hi i have orders with them aswell , they are slower than usual i think its because of the xmas period so if your orders say taken , i very much doubt you will recieve them this side of xmas at this late stage , but you never know :)

Speed is not their forte. I think they are just overwhelmed. They all get there in the end however but if you want a couple of discs to get you going I would look elsewhere for those, having said that most HD DVD / BD supplier are much slower than DVD ones.
