    Oh, come on Razor :hiya:

Even without printing your entire collection we know you can do better than that! :D

I have hardly ever bought a movie without seeing it first. Does mean I waste lot on rentals tho... A couple that sping to mind that i bought from the video store immediately on returning the rentall copy are 'Pump Up The Volume' and 'Man On Fire'.

This means I don't have many regrets. The two I DO have, however, are Van Helsing and LXG. Both received as gifts before I'd had chance to see them.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear... :(

Man on Fire was a good movie. Surprised at that nomination. I can totally understand Van Helsing but what is LXG????

    Hartigan :hiya:

Yeah I googled it and League came up. I didnt think this movie was too bad, I like my comic book style movies like xmen and spiderman.

Hulk was a bit poor tho, shame as I get linked with the Hulk because of my appearance. (I have been bodybuilding for 14 years, not cos I look green :D )

    Ok,

I am going out on a limb here and say Million Dollar baby.

Now before everyone jumps on me, hear me out. I have a large collection of movies that other people dont like and have a lot that others do. I pride myself on have a wide ranging taste in movies. Anyone that clicks on the link to my DVD collection can hopfully see that.......now on to the point I was about to make.
I dont think that it is a bad film by any means and is well acted and tightly paced, my problem is the ending. I bought this movie on the recomendation and good reviews it got on the forums. I had not seen it untill I had got it home and put the DVD on. I dont wont to spoil the last act of the movie but lets just say It is not a movie that I enjoyed, because of this ending. I wish I had not bought it beacuse even though it is a movie that is well made I just did not enjoy it nor would I probably watch it again. Pretty much all the movies I buy I know I will watch them a couple of times, but this one well It just wont be coming out of its box in my house ever again.

    Dave.

I wish I had never seen army of darkness the directors cut special editon............Terrible movie

    Charlies Angels: Full Throttle

Complete pile of crap. Even the eye candy of Drew, Lucy and Cameron couldn't save it. Ended up giving it away.

    Bought: Dungeons & Dragons

Reason: Hadn't seen it and was going to watch LOTR: FOTR @ the cinema. Used to play D&D in my younger days and thought this may be a good film and set me up for LOTR. How wrong I was! It is the biggest pile of smelly stuff I have ever bought.. terrible. :(

    Bought: Mission Impossible II

Reason: Love MI 1 and thought MI 2 would be along the same lines. How wrong can one be? It was rubbish. All of the slow motion made the film unwatchable and boring. A plot would have been nice too.

    Ho-hum.

    You live and don't learn!

    Ghostbusters
    Deliverence
    Raiders Of The Lost Ark
    The Big Lebowski
    The Crying Game
    Infernal Affairs

Before I get flamed, let me explain...

...if we're talking about bad movies, I wish that I had seen them all, then I would know for the future what not to watch and be safe in the knowledg that every film that I watch from now on will be good.

I would rather that I had never seen classics such as those listed above just so I can watch them again for the first time.

You lot are ALL slipping. No-one's yet posted the obvious answers. Movies you wish you'd never seen?

"Absolutely anything, anything at all, which features Adam Sandler".

    and

"Anything Ben Affleck's in that's not directed by Kevin Smith".

I bought AvP without seeing it first, that was a big mistake! :(

What a pile of S**t! I seriously hate Paul Anderson, if i ever saw him in the street i'd give him a dead leg, then point at him whilst mimicking Nelson Muntz's 'Ha Ha'....

All the other films i have bought without seeing first have been excellent, i think Mean creek was the last one!

Films i wished i never watched... hmmm! i think the only one that comes to mind is Little Nicky, for some reason went to see it at the Cinema with some mates, what a waste of £6.50!! :suicide:

The Hulk is not Spider-man(thank God) or any number of other brightly coloured brain candy, it's more of a tragi-drama.

Viewed on that level it's a really good film, that won't be accepted in either the Comic book camp or the American Beauty drama camp. As there is too much drama and not enough "HULK SMASH!!!" but at the same time there's too mauch of that and CGI to appease either group.

    /*\ EDIT/*\
Up unitl Sin City this was my fave comic adaptaion.
