Question Movies on Sony Bravia TV

If i purchase films through the sony entertainment network, can i access these using my tv or will i need a playstation or blu ray player to do this.

I read online that you can only rent movies and not buy them when accessing there service through a tv.

Nope you can as long as you have a valid PlayStation network account...I actually found a few movies that I had when I signed into my ps3!! :-D

Would my tv support this or would i need to get a newer model
