Anyone know of any good ones?
Is there any sites that index them all?
a bit obvious but
Didn't think of there, cant seem to find links to official sites though
Found it thanks bobbles.
Does anyone know of any other good ones, without me having to think of a movie.
I may not have even heard of a movie someone else has known about for ages.
I always check quicktime trailers and have a look a the trailers there. They have links to the official movie sites so you can get more info and downloads
Another one I totaly forgot to check, thanks M8
for old or new films I am not sure what you want to do
For reviews rotton tomatoes is quite good, i would imagine they list top rated films and recent ones
Found what I was looking for.
A friend mentioned a couple of upcoming films, but I was just guessing at the URL's for their official sites (normally works).
If anyones interested I think both of these films look like they will be good. The second one looks a bit like a teen slasher movie, but I think I'll give it a go when it surfaces.
Dreamcatcher Adapted from a Steven King novel
Identity To me this looks like a really good thriller, but will probably turn out to be another teen slasher.
Just to give you the address for Rotten Tomatoes that Bobbles mentioned:
I tend to look at the reviews both on there and on IMDB to see what the buzz is.
two of the best film sites IMO
this aint a bad site
I find the Movie Review Query Engine useful:
If you're into 80's films try this site, www.fast-rewind.com
Thanks guys these have all been really helpful, found a load more films that I wouldn't have even thought about seeing. Keep em coming.
I browse the recommendations on IMDB and Amazon.com - always proved useful ("If you like this movie, you might also like..."). Take a lot of time to explore if you wanna do it properly, but really worth it as it throws up some movies you may have never heard of otherwise
How about www.ign.com select the movies section and www.darkhorizons.com
This may be interesting, the book was pretty good, not one of his best but if done well I think it could make a good film.
I'm not a great fan of King adaptations as most of them are terrible, mainly because the books are long and bits get dropped for the film.
That's the reason Shawshank, Green Mile and Stand By Me were good films, because they were faithful to the books.
I would imagine that this would need to be a long film if it's going to be any good.
