Sorry if this as been asked before but i wanted to know for sure.

ARe all HD-DVD movies full widescreen without any or limited black borders?

Or do most have huge black borders?

I ask because i watched kill bill on v+ the other day and it was full screen with no blackborders

it shocked me because i had seen nothing but bordered HD samples of Kill Bill 1/2 for the last year or so?

anyone?

Almost all of the 21 HD-DVDs I've got are bordered 2.35:1 ratio format. The only 1.85:1 (full widescreen with no borders) are The Hulk, A Scanner Darkly and Enemy At The Gate.

how big are the borders when we are talking bout 2:35?

Well they aren't huuuuge or anything, here's an example from the bluray of Stargate

Kill Bill is 2.35:1 ratio. All films that are 1.85:1 will fill a widescreen. Hellboy is a good 1.85:1 film.
