Got about 15 Carry On movies on my Sky Q to watch when the wife is out.

^I can’t believe that I took some of the same shots of the movie as you did @alebonau all I can assume is we have the same eye for a scene. Even the 1080p is of decent quality so if you haven’t bought it yet and are debating whether the movie is worthwhile spending for the 4K then have no fears with the standard Blu ray.

As for the movie itself, some crackling fight scenes but the story and most of the acting is average. Suicide Quad is actually the better movie IMO.

dont worry on the slanted, if a bother can just crop slightly - thats all i do just to square up as i dont use a tripod or anything just hand held shots

Us on 4k uhd blu-ray...a very curious film. one am not sure I liked at all, or should have bothered watching. But quite curious anyways ... a kind of thought experiment in story I guess. takes some suspension of disbelief..which I just couldn't pull off. Its in along same lines as the movie split. I see the same actress from "invisible man" also in this one. picture wise its shot well, but a 2K DI and lot of indoor and dark scenes - ive tried to portray as best I can as what i saw. the audio is pretty amazing from get go... even before the opening... quite spooky and very 3D ! you'll possible love or hate this one... am in the "I dont know category"

havent seen side movie, but birds of prey did pretty well on rotten tomatoes but i can understand if not everyones cup of tea... its done carton like...so cant take too seriously

That is the most realistic skin tones I have ever seen from a picture, mine look like this on the screen but when I try to capture it on the iPhone it looks nowhere here as good.

Thanks luminated, some credit probably goes to my calibrator as i know he went some effort with skin tones. its a shame the iPhone has mind of own. is it applying a filter of some sort. I wonder whether worth trying some camera apps. theres a few for iPhone, most free. i can help suggest picture settings and maybe it bypasses the iPhone special sauce maybe worth a play around anywise ...

I already have Snapseed but was reluctant to use it in case it also did things to the image.

I quickly imported to image into Snapseed and I must say that it’s easier to get it looking like the original screen so maybe I should look at using it in future.

Karate Kid on 4k uhd blu-ray via JVC N7. The movie definitely showing its age for what is now a 36 year old production. Grain city.... but those that don't mind grain will just lap it up... as wow what a blast from the past... I think this is a kind of movie that defines the times. And they really just dont make movies like this anymore. I just so loved it. refreshing, so many lovely moments and all those famous quotes... Some of the screen shots might bring some of the memories back for folks ! ps i had to take these shots on the fly - no pausing as you dont want to upset and aggravate the grain

The son has tried to get me to watch that series about the Karate Kid on Netflix I think but I flatly refuse. LOL

Funny I didn't mind the remake half as bad though it's still a cheesefest.

I'm an odd git as the wife will vouch for LOL, won't watch 'The wolf of wall street' because of the excessive drug taking and wouldn't watch 'Breaking Bad' for the same reason.

Noooo ! I can’t stand them anymore . No I haven’t heard anything about the Abyss. I’ve been picking up a few older 3D blus and the odd uhd but nothing new.

Bought a few Blurays and forgot to check if they were Region B and unfortunately one was Region A. Anyway one that was OK was ‘Signs’, a bit grainy though not to bad but an awesome movie.
