I have a Sony TRV33 and Windows Movie Maker 2 on my pc. I want to be able to capture just the sound from a video clip and turn it into an mp3. Is this possible ?

Capture the clip as normal in MM2 (sound & video) and save it to a folder on your HDD.
Go into that folder from Windows and you will see 2 files. 1 will be the video and the other the WAV sound file.
Open this file in any sound encoding prog and convert to MP3.

MM2 will not AFAIK convert a WAV file to MP3.

    Mark.
