I've more or less decided to go back to a crt from lcd's which I just can't agree with.

I need to have the projector ceiling mounted but have a concrete ceiling in my flat. I've seen it mentioned on a few websites that people have used anchor bolts. Does anyone have any experience of whether it's safe to use these and which size would be best for the job?

    Thanks

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

My Seleco SVP-400 hangs from a concrete ceiling. I used 4 x 14mm (or maybe 12mm??) anchor bolts, these use 8mm threaded rods I believe. If these anchors are installed correctly they will hold huge weights, certainly a 50kg - 75kg projector would cause no problem when hung on four of them.

I posted pictures a while ago...
