    Hi guys,

I would like to try and mount my Sky+ box to the underside of the top of a cabinet.

I looked in B&Q just for simple "C" shape adjustable clamp style brackets but couldnt find anything would u believe!
Anyone know where i could find these ?

Failing that, I have looked online and found VCR mounting brackets like these..
    http://www.mghusa.com/Products/TV-Mounts/vm-104-1a.html
    http://www.classd-design.com/products/detail.asp?ProductId=347

The look almost right. But the problem is that they are all designed to hang underneath a tv bracket. So i dont know if they have holes along the top bar that i could use to put screws up into the cabinet.

Anyone got any ideas please ?

    Cheers

Do Sky+ boxes get hot or have vents in the top like normal sky boxes?
You will have a lot less cooling if you do this, depends on how low you mount it though.

    Mylo,

Yeah, they have vents all along the top of the box.
Hence i wanted to mount it with about 1" clearance from the top of the cabinet.

In fact, i think that would allow better venting for the SKY+ box, since it is currently sitting right ontop of the tv (which gets very warm).
