Mounting Samsung 46" on plasterboard with the 'new' type bracket

    just be sure to mount them on the joists!

    It doesnt say that in the instructions - neither does it show it in any vids I've seen?

    Have you actually done this as the brackets comes with special fixings for plasterboard...

    Honestly? Give it back, get the cheapest bracket you can get, if the plaster is dry and 2cm thick thats more than you need!

    Get 8-10 Plaster screws and a braket (I just installed this one today: Fits Philips LG Pioneer TV WALL BRACKET MOUNT 32 37 50 on eBay (end time 14-Jul-09 15:14:50 BST) for £22 delivered) Its think, easy to mount and forget about the wooden frame, I couldnt find mine because it didnt have any (wall was a diving one, not that great of a wall and empty).


    Hanged my 50" Lg + the weight of me+ my gf on each side to test it was ok, and the tv still there.


    My advice? Spend the £200 on something else , send them back :smashin:
