A friend of mine has just purchased a Samsung LCD tv. An ideal place to mount it would be on the wall. However, the wall has a central heating radiator on it. Is it possible to mount the screen above the radiator, or will i get damaged from the heat? Usually i would be against the idea, although i have seen people mount theirs on the chimney, with fireplaces underneath.

Any information would be much appreciated

I wouldn't due to the amount of heat the TV produces contained that with the heat from the rad ,it would shorten the life of the TV, either move the rad or turn it off.
