Mounting a PC13-Ultra horizontally?

I know this has been asked before but searching only brought up "I heard people have done this..." type answers.

Do SVS' cylinder subs work ok when mounted on their sides? Which way should they face, ports towards the listener?

Cheers,
Mike

There's no reason it shouldn't work, but it depends on the room really.
Experimentation would be the name of the game.
Same goes for the orientation of the driver/port.

In the old days when SVS tubes were all the rage in the States in their many and various guises it was considered almost semi normal to lie one down behind the couch if SWMBO didn't like the fluffy monster on show so give it a try. :)

It'll be completely fine on its side, SVS themselves agree.

I had one for quite some time like that. The cat liked it.
