Hi
I am building a pair of bedrooms for my two sons by dividing an existing room in two with a stud wall. I am restricted in the amount of mass I can introduce into the wall and whilst it will have sound absorption built into it I am looking at ways to reduce transferred noise/vibration from the TV's that will be mounted on either side. Has anyone tried to "isolate" the TV from the wall by using a mounting board held away from the wall on rubber "thimbles" (similar to those used on car exhaust mounts)?
Kind regards
Cessna
