I think there is a good chance they will add more stuff via updates. One that has been mentioned is a time trial mode.

I'm not sure I'd call the bolt on stuff you mention as 'depth', however it does lack game play modes, thankfully the core racing is so good it doesn't matter at all - especially with the online mode. Arguably you could say it's purity is a strength.

No, your right first time, its a bit crap. Its a demo sold as a game.

Hopefully Motorstorm 2 will be better

Is there going to be a second one then?

It hasn't been confirmed but it stands to reason there will be. Considering how well the first one has sold and how shallow it is ( that's not to say it's not a good game as it is ) there most likely will be a sequel. A lot can be added to the game and hopefully they will have more time when it comes to developing the second one.

Split screen would be nice, yeah it is a tech demo made into a game, hopefully there will be some updates.

I liked the game, but sold it coz the shouty shouty soundtrack was slowly driving me insane.

I tired of the music too even though it's a genre I like. I have the music turned down now and just have the effects turned up.

I'd love to be able to play my own MP3s in game. I do this in GTA on PC and it adds to the game for me being able to listen to my own choice of music.

Anyway, I'm still not that good at the game, but that's never taken away the 'one more go' feeling and I spend agaes trying to get that bit better and progress further. Haven't tried online yet.

For me it's really been £40 well spent.
