sounds like a struggle in pre season for rossi. Maybe he is being a bit fly with that sort of comment but it will be interesting to see in qualifying for this weekend.

Looking forward to another cracking season!!!

Ellison's been storming during testing though!

did you see that Colin Edwards was given a spanking new BMW Z4 just for being fastest in pre-season tests!

Not like he even won anything really...hard life these GP riders

    They're on the grid.....

Can you believe SWMBO was trying to get me to go to the tip while this was on?

"Well, you can record it and watch it later" she said.

"My arse" I said, and packed her off shopping.

    5 minutes and counting....whohoo!

I thought it was quite a boring race. The track is not the most exciting either.

Shame about Rossi, but still very strong performance getting points.

    Yeah, Pedrosa great stuff

Boring? Watching Capirossi slide the Duke, Pedrosa in his first MotoGP, Elias almost taking third from Hayden, hardly boring. As for the circuit, I was there along with 131,000 others and the atmosphere and noise is incredible. Jerez always springs a surprise. Two years ago it was the rain, last year the Rossi/ Gibernau incident, this year Rossi/ Elias. Television cannot substitute for being there, camera angles and big lenses kill the sense of speed and acceleration and no speaker can reproduce the sound and vibration of MotoGP bikes on full song.

    You tried Valencia?

Awesome place as you can see roughly two thirds of the track from just about anyone spot - although you will still need binoculars :D

Although the atmosphere is awesome at these places, for sheer viewing pleasure I personaly don't think you can beat tv but, if you go to Spain you can get them to show it in the pubs! Bonza

Valencia would be too far, just over 400miles, from the apartment to make it viable. It would be cheaper to fly direct than drive there and back. Always a possibility if it goes down to the wire though.......
